THE LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD

The Lifetime Achievement Award, ACG’s highest honor, recognizes a person who has distinguished themselves not only in their service to ACG but also in their professional lives through community service. The winner, Richard Jaffe, exempli­fies the very essence of ACG’s mission of driving middle market growth here and around the world.

Richard Jaffe has been on the Global Board of Directors for ACG since 2010. Additionally, he served as chair from 2015-2016, as well as the President of ACG Philadelphia in 2008 and 2009. He’s currently an ex-officio board member of that chapter and is the co-chair of the public policy committee. Jaffee is an “impact player,” who, in 1995, resurrected the nearly dormant Philadelphia chapter, which now boasts one of the highest membership retention rates in the country.

Jason Brown has served as the Global Chairman and President of the ACG Los Angeles. Brown is a Partner at Victory Park Capital where he is primarily responsible for sourcing, analyzing, executing and managing direct private debt and equity investments in lower middle market companies. Brown is the incoming InterGrowth 2020 Chairman.

Karin Kovacic is the Chairman of ACG Connecticut and serves on the board and executive committee of ACG. She began her career at Smith Barney as a Registered Sales Associate. She’s since gained 14+ years of experience in business origination, relationship management and investor/client relations, with an emphasis in the financial services sector. Additionally, Kovacic volunteers with the Junior League of Greenwich.

Christopher Letts is the President of ACG Detroit and is the youngest president elected since founded in 1984. In the past, Letts served as President and Director of Brother Rice High School Business Alliance and the Director of Michigan State Alumni Association of Oakland County. In 2018, Letts was named one of “America’s Top Next-Generation Wealth Advisors” by Forbes Magazine. Letts is a Vice President, Wealth Advisor at Morgan Stanley. He’s also co-founder of the Pine Harbor Group at Morgan Stanley.

Rachel Ludicke has been a member of the Dallas/Fort Worth ACG Chapter since December 2017 and currently serves on the Chapter’s Board as the Membership Committee Chair. In addition to being a member of Association for Corporate Growth, Ludicke participates actively in professional networking organizations such as the Society for Texas Environmental Professionals (STEP) and Business Navigators. Ludicke is a Project Manager at Enercon Services, Inc.

Angenita Pex has been a board member of ACG Holland since 2007. She was closely involved in establishing and growing the ACG Holland chapter. Pex was part of the organizing committee of ACG’s European Capital Tour in 2012 of which she chaired the Amsterdam event. She was integral to the success of the EuroGrowth conferences and chaired ACG’s EuroGrowth 2018 conference. Since 2006, she has been a member of Houthoff’s M&A team. Houthoff is one of the largest law firms in the Netherlands.

Jerome S. Romano has been a member of the ACG New York Board for nine years. He founded and co-chaired the annual ACG New York M&A DealSource event for the past eight years. Romano has also been a valuable resource for the ACG Capital Connection® and ACG DealSource® Committee. Romano is a Managing Director of TM Capital Corp. Jerome co-leads TM’s Financing and Restructuring Advisory group and leads TM’s building products practice.

Mitch Woolery has been a key reason for the success of ACG Kansas City. During Woolery’s tenure as Chapter President and Past President, he worked to update the chapter’s bylaws, formed the chapter’s Public Policy Committee and has been a mentor to many members. Woolery has also served on the ACG Global Board of Directors where he worked on Public Policy issues and the Nominating Committee. Woolery is a Partner at Kutak Rock law firm.

Bobby Blumenfeld has been an active ACG member since 1999. Blumenfeld is a former recipient of the Thomas Farrell Memorial Award, administered by The M&A Advisor, LLC. Past honors bestowed upon him include ACG New York’s Peter Hilton Award for furthering the mission of the chapter during his volunteer term and the ACG Global Meritorious Award for Outstanding Service to the organization and the industry.
